My good friend and journalist Vanessa Beeley and give an always Critical Perspective to the possible motivations behind the nature of Iran’s retaliation against U.S. air bases, the consequences, the methodology and the underlying deceptions between all of it, including Trump’s delusions, and Tulsi Gabbard’s shift.
We recall how so many entitled analysts and even known journalists who supported Trump have nowhere to hide their regret. We walk down a very short memory lane when some urged that Palestine and Gaza were one issue, only to be living through an attempt at Iraq 2.0, with the horns of war going off at all ends.
We dive into the possible false flag scenarios that have been placed to occur on July 4th or at least very soon, banking the fears touted in Western media of “Iranian sleeper cells,” with zero ground in reality but all the vocal support of the imperialist media and its political creators.
There’s also one again, the self-centered, USIANS thinking the world revolves around their useless electoral politics, offering nothing but cosmetic and symbolic gestures, engineered to make them “feel-good” about doing absolutely nothing to change things, instead relying on the same tired mechanisms that have endlessly failed them and the rest of us. Enter of course: Zohran Mamdani, the state lawmaker seeking to become New York City’s first Muslim and Indian American mayor. Again short goldfish memories and the vapid nature of US politics and activism.
While I visit the US, I’m trying to keep sane with withering patience and cathartic conversation with those like Vanessa, who give an outsider perspective to the reality most face outside of North America and the Western world.
Watch to keep sane and to also perhaps be challenged.
